What is Kinto?
Kinto is a mobile app for families caring for their aging loved ones. We know firsthand the many challenges, and rewards, associated with this very important job; that’s why we created Kinto -- to help make it easier. The app allows you to manage and organize some of your most important caregiving responsibilities all while keeping your family up-to-date on the status of your loved one’s health and well-being.
Who is Kinto for?
Kinto is for the people in your family looking after your aging loved one. There are 40 million unpaid family caregivers in the United States today. So, while this sometimes can feel like a lonely, thankless task, there are many, MANY other people sharing a similar experience.
How can I download Kinto?
It’s easy and, free! Are you an Android or iPhone user?
Android: Visit the Google Play Store and search for ‘Kinto.’ Click ‘Install’ and you’re good to go!
iPhone: Visit the App Store and search for ‘Kinto.’ Click ‘Get’ and you’re good to go!

Kinto is absolutely free.
Can I use Kinto without creating an account?
Yes. Feel free to use Kinto without creating an account. Once you decide that Kinto is a good solution for you and your family, we encourage you to register so that you can always access your information if you change or lose your smartphone.

Can I use Kinto on my computer?
Not yet. Kinto is designed specifically for your mobile device so that you can can access all your loved ones information from anywhere at anytime! For example - at the doctor’s office and need to know what meds mom is taking? Open Kinto and check it out. You can also communicate with your family on the fly - just like texting! For example - just took your mom to the doctor? Do a Check-In and let your family know how it went.

What can I do with Kinto?
Invite your family: There are probably many other people who are involved with your loved one’s care. Add them to your Family and easily share important information and updates about how your loved one is doing.
Family Feed: Think of it like an overview of everything going on in your family. It’s the place you go when you want to see what’s been done and who is doing it. If something catches your eye, click into it and learn more.
Medications: Keep track of your loved one’s medications and understand important drug interactions and side effects.
Documents: Keep your loved one’s legal and financial documents in one place. Snap a quick photo, upload it, and store it in the Kinto app. Whenever you need it, you’ll have access to it, and so will the other family members connected to your account.
Community: We believe in the power of community. With 40 million other caregivers in the United States, you are not alone. Through our community of Kinto Caregivers, we encourage you to connect and engage with one another - it’s a great way to give and receive support, wisdom, advice, love, laughter and everything else that you experience along this journey.
To Dos: It sometimes feels like the To Do list never ends! We know the feeling. The first step in making it more manageable is to keep it organized and prioritize your tasks. Remember - your Family is there to help you! If you can’t take your mom to her next appointment, assign it to someone else.
Check-Ins: Let your Family know how your loved one is doing by answering a few quick questions. How’s her mood? Her broken foot? Her visit with Dr. Smith? Keep track of your loved one on a daily basis and keep the whole Family up to date on how she’s doing.
Advice: These are articles written by the Kinto team that give useful and practical tips on the best ways to deal with the most important issues. We add articles to the Advice section all the time and keep improving the existing ones.
Is my information secure?
Your information is completely secure. The information you input into the app with only be visible to those in your Family Care Team. Beyond that, no one can see it.
